How to Use Coca-Cola to Remove Toilet Limescale
Pour one can or bottle of regular Coca-Cola directly into the toilet bowl. Make sure the liquid reaches all the stained areas, especially around the rim where limescale builds up most. Let it sit for at least two hours. For thicker stains, leave it overnight. After waiting, scrub the bowl with your toilet brush and flush. The stains should come off much more easily.

Why This Trick Works
Coca-Cola has a pH of around 2.8 - similar to lemon juice or vinegar. Its phosphoric and carbonic acids slowly dissolve mineral deposits, breaking down limescale and even rust stains. Unlike bleach, which simply whitens surfaces, the acid in Coke actually removes the buildup. There is a reason some car garages use Coke to clean battery terminals.
One Important Tip - Use the Right Coke
Use regular, full-sugar Coca-Cola. Diet or sugar-free versions contain less phosphoric acid, so they do not work as well. Warming the Coke slightly before pouring can also speed up the process, as warm acid works faster on hard deposits. That is all there is to it. A drink from your refrigerator, no expensive chemicals, no hard scrubbing. Just pour, wait, and flush.
